This newsletter is coming to you late because, for whatever reason, the wifi in my home has not been working for the last 24 hours. It *has* been frigid lately, so I’m chalking it up to the weather causing an outage.
Anyway, I can’t believe that The Legend of Jamie Roberts, CHAPTER HECKING 13 is going to start next week! Like, DANG!
The frustrating thing is: I’m 13 chapters in, and now brain is coming up with all these other side stories and comics.
So now, my challenge is not so much re-kindling the love I have for The Legend of Jamie Roberts. That love is still there, but I think it’s taken on a new shape. This is, after all, the webcomic I have stuck with for the longest amount of time. (Only Validation was about as long, and it wrapped up in 6 years. Jamie Roberts has been going for just over that long).
It’s a bit like a long-term relationship, but with a comics project. It’s definitely an experience.
I forgot to include Polly Possum in your rewards this month! Dangit!
Well, she’ll be bundled with next month’s rewards.
Speaking of rewards, I did notice that some folks who receive this newsletter are still subscribed using the Stripe page I built years ago. I’m looking to phase out this built page and just use Ko-fi for the time being.
The reason why is that Ko-fi is able to secure and protect mailing addresses, which helps me know what rewards to mail out and to where. It also makes it easier to know what emails folks prefer to use. I’m noticing that some folks have not been getting their rewards and I want to fix that!
So if you currently have a membership through the Stripe page I built, you can manage your subscription by going here. If you’re able to, please discontinue your pledge on the Stripe portal and go to Ko-fi to re-pledge. If you have any issues during that process, let me know and I can see what I can do on the back end.
