Because one of my jobs is outside of my home office, I’ve been taking the bus more. (Which reminds me, one of these days I’m going to make a series of posts about being car-free in Ohio, one of the most inhospitable states to be car-free in).
But taking the bus as often as I have, I have discovered that, unfortunately, I can’t look at screens of any sort while in a moving vehicle. It makes me queasy. That said, for whatever reason, I can read a book on the bus. So on bus trips, I’ve been reading books, sketching pages (which can be tricky because of bumpy roads), and working on some crochet. Sometimes, I will treat my time on the bus as downtime I’m stealing for my own sanity.

Because there is *a lot* going on in the studio and at the day job. I just can’t share it yet. What I can hint at, though, is that there are going to be THREE different bundles I’m participating in on itch.io. I will announce them the closer we get to launch dates.
For those of you who have never heard of itch.io bundles: they are a cluster of works by different creators on itch.io with a dedicated theme. The works are sold as a package altogether like a discount bundle, available for a limited time, and then after that time limit, the sales are split among the contributors who pitched in. They’re a great way to support your favorite artists, find new artists, and get some heckin’ sweet deals!
Be on the lookout on Bluesky and my blog, for I will be posting about the other artists in these bundles when the time comes.

I shared on my website the rewards that my Club members get in the mail for January. (It’s not too late to sign up and get those, btw).

My next in-person event (beside a surprise talk I gave with some University of Toledo students yesterday) will be at Bash Con! Bash Con is Feb 6 through 8 at the University of Toledo. More details to come as we get closer.
