AN IGNORANCE OF ROMANCE
That’s the last finished page of An Ignorance of Romance! While this version of the story is discontinued, keep an eye out for a comic in the future that gives a fresh twist on some of these ideas. (Ko-fi members will soon know a bit about this because I’m sharing more details about it with them on Monday.)
Until then, I’ve got a ton of updates for you.
FIRST! November 30 I will be at Genghis Con Cleveland! The show runs from 11 am to 5 pm at the Pivot Center for the Arts, Dance and Expression. Lots of indie comics creators will be there, so I hope I see you!

KickStarter backers – I sent out surveys for you to fill out! Make sure you get those answered ASAP.
In more KickStarter news, I got the proof back from the printer! Aside from like, 2 tweaks, it’s ready! I’m going to send over the last edits and then printing can start.
The Legend of Jamie Roberts, chapter 13 is delayed until January 2026 so I can do rewrites. That said, KickStarter backers unlocked a new short comic featuring Basho and Norsa! Pages of that will begin on December 3 on the official site.

Last week I announced the Zine Food Drive! This week, and next, I’m going to treat Black Friday weekend differently.
I’m borrowing a page from Bonedust Press for this idea. They recently announced in a newsletter that a portion of sales of their books will benefit food pantries in the Washington state area. (And if you want to check their books out, do it! They have The Traitor & The Wretch, which is a great book!)
So I’m announcing: This Black Friday weekend (that's Nov 27 through Dec 1), 15% of all Ko-fi sales – including commissions – will benefit the Brown Bag Food Project, a mutual aid food project making sure families in need in Wood County, OH are fed.
(By the way, the Zine Food Drive has raised a little over $500 already for Brown Bag Food Project! Thank you all so much for your support!)

Gonna get scary for a second: fellow artist Joanna, better known online as ardwoof, got detained by ICE. The family is raising funds to get her legal assistance. Here’s her GoFundMe campaign.
If you or someone you know needs a helping hand, head over to the Fantasyville Discord and post in the #mutual-aid channel.
