Vanita and the Demon King is still running Friday updates. If you need to catch up on the story, check out the archives.
PAGE 101 Panel 1: wide panel. Vanita raises a finger, looking serious, as she says to King, "Actually, BETTER question - can you walk to the bathroom and back - WITHOUT falling over?" Panel 2: King places a hand on their knee and goes to stand up. They say, "I SHOULD be able to. I just ate, so my strength should be - " Panel 3: King tips over with a NOPE. Panel 4: Wide panel. King leans back, head on the couch, seeing stars as they say, "I cannot." Vanita leans forward and says, "Then you're staying home."
My novella, Fwishi'shi, is part of the Summer Sale on Smashwords! This sale lasts the whole month of July and is a great time to get a copy of this book at a discounted price - along with tons of other indie authors!

Share this link far and wide to the avid readers in your life, yo: https://www.smashwords.com/sale

If you're broke, I also just made the request to make Fwishi'shi available at local libraries as a digital offering. If you'd like to see your library carry this book, talk to your librarian about making a request!
Up at the top of the mesa, the priests get into action.

Meanwhile, Vanita and the Demon King discuss what to do about leaving the apartment (since it doesn't help that King is presumed dead).

Over on Ben's channel, we returned to the world of Paranormasight: The Mermaid's Curse, where we solved a map puzzle!
The Summer of Mermaids Bundle is still ongoing! You have until July 31 to nab some mermaid comics and games! Some are NSFW (including my own comic), so be prepared for that.
My buddy Carlos - behind-the-scenes supporter of many a DC-area artist - has been hit with some hard times. He's running a GoFundMe campaign to catch up on some bills. I can vouch for this guy. Any little bit helps!

The Prairieland Defendants are citizens who protested ICE and their facilities in north Texas - and for protesting they're getting prison time. Some are getting 50 years because of "distributing materials promoting terrorism." Those materials? Zines that call for protesting tyranny.

If you want to find out more about the Prairieland Defendants, here's a link to more details. The zines they were distributing are free to read online, btw. But one indie pub is doing print runs to raise funds for their defense. The first print run is sold out - a new one is coming soon!

That's all for now...
