Fantasy Comics Roundtable (and More)

Vanita and the Demon King is still running Friday updates. If you need to catch up on the story, check out the archives.

PAGE 94 Panel 1: Wide panel. King frames the shot with their head and raised finger as they say, "Regius Black." Vanita, framed in the image, grimaces and hisses. Panel 2: Wide panel, close up on King. "If I may guess," they say, "...all of his books are burned, aren't they?" Panel 3: Wide panel, close up on Vanita. She pokes two fingers together, looking away while saying, "Not all of them! Just most of them. But the ones that survived are uh..." Panel 4: Wide panel. We see a wide establishing shot of the exterior of a library, with three stories of height and sparsely decorated with trees on the surrounding lawns. Vanita, off-panel, says, "...Rare. So rare that bookstores don't sell reprints."

I wish I had more to say for this blurb. But I just did a massive move into a new apartment, so I'm pretty bushed. Also it took me like 3 freaking days to build out this bed frame and I did all of it by hand with no power tools. My hands are so sore lol.

So, I'm going to get as much rest as I can before the next panel I'm doing...

The Fantasy Comics Roundtable! As part of Nib and Ink Fest with Cartoonists United, join me tomorrow (Saturday, May 23) at 3 pm EDT. I'll be in a call with other fantasy comic creators as we gush about our favorite genre and why we love it so much.

Ranki has NO MERCY.

And Vanita and the Demon King are trying to remember this magic book they need to do some magic shenanigans.

Over on Ben's Twitch channel, there was murder! Horror! And a ton of tourism! We're playing Paranormasight: The Mermaid's Curse! If you need to catch up with this series, the replays are available on YouTube.

Oops! The Ko-fi shop stayed closed longer than I anticipated. But hey, I'm still unpacking from the move. So :P The shop is open again now.

Things have been hoppin' over on itch.io though! There's the Haunted House horror bundle, yes, AND there's an upcoming Power of Pride bundle coming soon! Plus there will be a mermaid bundle on the horizon. So lots of stuff cooking here!

The Nib and Ink Fest has a marketplace full of indie comics! The proceeds of Oops! All Comics benefit Cartoonists United, and sales of all the rest of the comics benefit the creators who made them!

That's all for now...
