PAGE 93 Panel 1: Wide panel. Under the blanket fort shadow, sitting on the floor in front of the green couch, Vanita and King sit side-by-side. Their dinner plates sit on the couch cushion by their heads, with leftover chicken bones and forks. King, looking thoughtful, recollects as they say, "I recall a drawing on the floor. A seven-pointed star...and seven black candles. One at each point of the star." Panel 2: Wide panel, close up on King looking puzzled. "I don't recall the exact incantation," they say. "...But I remember it had been copied from another book..." Panel 3: Vanita asks, "Do you remember the book?" King raises a finger, face lighting up with recognition. "Not exactly," they say. "I think it was something-or other Incantorum. But I remember the author!"
