Vanita and the Demon King is still running Friday updates. If you need to catch up on the story, check out the archives.
PAGE 102 Panel 1: Vanita smiles at King (off-panel), and says, "...It was very sweet of you to offer that, though. So... thanks." Panel 2: We look over the top of Vanita's pony-tailed head to see King, head leaned back on the couch, gazing up in contemplation. Vanita is typing on her phone. Panel 3: Vanita stops typing to look up as King (off-panel) asks, "You said..." Panel 4: King still has their head leaned back on the couch, eyes shut. They say, "That 'everyone in this time' calls me a villain... Obviously, you don't." Panel 5: Wide panel. We see Vanita's hands clutching her phone. King, from off-panel, asks, "I can imagine Richard's version of history. What is the history YOU know?"
I'm available for commissions this summer until Sept 30!
Have an RPG character you love? Writing a novel and want to have some art of your characters? Need a birthday present that's unique? Well good news, I can draw that for you!
I have updated prices and everything on my website, along with some samples from past commissions.
Ever see dragon-sized wind chimes?
Meanwhile, King learns what it feels like to try and get up too soon.
This week I did not join Ben on his livestream - I had a bike crash last Thursday and wanted to take the weekend to recover. No broken bones! Just some nasty bruising and road rash.
However! I started a mirror of The Legend of Jamie Roberts on ComicFury! What that means is that The Legend will post on ComicFury for new readers to enjoy. The ComicFury version is starting from the beginning and posting every Thursday. So you can start reading now!
Yo. I've got another itch.io bundle for y'all.
This time we're featuring the Cartoonists United Great Outdoors Bundle - comics all about the summer vibes by members of Cartoonists United. (NOTE: There are 18+ works here, so reader discretion is advised!) Purchases help support the artists as well as Cartoonists United, an organization fighting for better conditions and giving support for cartoonists worldwide.
If you'd like to find out more about Cartoonists United, here's their official website! I'm a proud member and love to talk about this organization, so I'm happy to answer any questions you may have.
The Summer of Mermaids sale is still going, and so is the Smashwords Summer Sale! Get your summer vibes going with mermaids and Fwishi'shi.
My buddy Carlos - behind-the-scenes supporter of many a DC-area artist - has been hit with some hard times. He's running a GoFundMe campaign to catch up on some bills. I can vouch for this guy. Any little bit helps!
That's all for now...
